PNW Components Loam Grips
DEVELOPED AND TESTED ON THE TOUGHEST TRAILS IN THE WORLD
You want grips that are comfortable and yet can be driven directly?
The handlebar grips from PNW Components have an ultra-sticky rubber compound and a Ergonomic shape to support the palms and to relieve fatigue caused by vibrations when you are on the road for a long time.
FULLY FROTHED TO THE LAST GROOVE
The Loam Grip has two opposing patterns. Thin strips run horizontally across the surface of the handle to improve traction and create a smooth feel, while the thicker mountain pattern supports the heels of your hands. Further out, the design becomes deeper and thicker to additionally dampen vibrations. Due to the conical design, the handle can optimally absorb the weight without feeling too thick or indirect.
The Loam Grip was specially developed for enduro / trail riding (MTB?), And this was the selection made with this in mind extremely important to the rubber compound. PNW needed to develop a compound that was soft enough to absorb vibration but firm enough to hold its shape under pressure. PNW calls this the “Happy Camper” mixture because it creates a balance between an ultra-soft material that wears out too quickly and a harder, uncomfortable mixture.
